“ Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. I got the nachos my buddy got a large burrito actually got two burritos. The lady up front was super nice. She actually gave us 2 cups of soup without charging us which was awesome. Used to be tacos on Rafa now it’s delicious Sophia and it’s awesome. Really good food. If you need Mexican food in Millcreek, I would highly recommend going here. ”

TDR was my first experience with street vendors way back in the 90's and I'm forever grateful (so much great food I'd have missed ). So happy they are still around and just as good Update April 17, 2024 Finally got my family to come in. My mom and my sobrinos tried the mexican pizza and WOW! SUPER flavorful and cooked just right. “ Absolutely delicious!!! Love that it’s so close to me too. If you have a bigger appetite get 5 tacos or more. I got 2 pork tacos in green sauce and 2 chicken mole tacos. So good. “ Good tacos, but not quite living up to the storied hype. TDR is the original taco stand in SLC. This storefront is their attempt at continuity as their stand faces an uncertain future. Unfortunately, I don’t think the food is quite good enough compared to other tacos available today. The carnitas were not moist enough and did not have much flavor. They also loaded my tacos with onions and cilantro to an absurd level. That said, they are very cheap tacos. The staff were nice. The shop was small but a fine place for lunch. It was pretty smoky in there at the time. ”

“ Delicias Sofia is such a great spot in Milcreek. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, and it really does feel like authentic Mexican food, not just another generic place. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable whether you’re eating in or grabbing takeout. It’s one of those places you end up going back to because you know the food will be good every time. If you’re in Milcreek or nearby in the Salt Lake Valley and looking for a solid Mexican restaurant, Delicias Sofia is definitely worth checking out. We’ll absolutely be back!!! ”

“ I’m quite embarrassed to admit this, but I live a mile from Delicias Sofia, and I had never been there until about a week ago. It was actually recommended by two LDS Missionaries. I was amazed at the extensive menu they had, and immediately looked for Pastor - totally was there. I grabbed an Al Pastor Burrito and a Jarritos Mexican Cola (if you haven’t had one, I’d highly recommend it.) They food was amazing, the ladies working there were super helpful and welcoming, and the overall experience was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Did I mention that the food was amazing? The price was also reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back to Sofia’s!! ”

“ If you want great tasting Mexican food with no frills, Tacos Don Rafa is your place. This is a very small Mexican cafe which is located in a strip mall. They have seating if you want to stay and eat there or you can take it to go. Ordering is simple. They have an iPad where you place your order. Tacos and burritos are the staples of this place and they are amazing! I ordered a carnitas burrito and the flavors were so good. The burrito was massive as well. I also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa was very good and tasted fresh. The chips were authentic. It seemed as though they cut up tortillas and fried them. The pricing is very reasonable. Tacos are cheap and the massive burrito was $6! I think I left the place spending roughly $10. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Without a doubt, I will be back to Tacos Don Rafa. Wonderful food! ”
